PB4L at Te Kura o Cloverlea
We are a SWPB4L (School Wide Positive Behaviour for Learning) School. This means that one of our core focuses is ensuring the students have an environment in which learning is celebrated in a positive way and based on our LEGEND values.
One of our understandings as a staff is based on the current quote –
“If a child doesn’t know how to read, we teach
if a child doesn’t know how to write, we teach
If a child doesn’t know how to swim, we teach
If a child doesn’t know how to behave, we punish”
At Cloverlea we school, we are changing this to “If a child doesn’t know how to behave, we teach”
